Three Crowns, a boutique international law firm, was looking to relocate from their current subleased office into a custom designed space that would establish a permanent presence in Washington, DC. The move to a former retail space on the ground floor of Washington Harbour allowed for a design that focuses on the water front views. Client facing conference spaces and partner offices were place strategically on a curving façade facing the Potomac River. The upfront public space is anchored by a bespoke art installation by world renowned artist Gabriel Dawe. The installation, made up of a series of colored thread, is situated at the main entrance and creates a dynamic entry sequence for guests to 3C and stops passerbys in their tracks to take in the art.
